How it will work
- Step 1

- Step 2

Your dentist observes your first cases with the office's laser.
- Step 3
Get signed off

What it will cover
- How dental lasers work: wavelengths and how they affect tissue
- Laser safety: eyewear, the treatment area and the office's safety rules
- Uses in hygiene care, within what your state allows
- Patient selection, consent and documentation
A simple drawing of a dental laser handpiece aimed at gum tissue, with a wave showing the laser's wavelength, and a pair of safety glasses with a note that everyone in the room wears eyewear made for that laser's wavelength.
